Kolkata Municipal Corporation has published Removal Of Silt And Foreign Materials From Nikashi Drain Along Both Flank In Between Stretch From Xing Of Taratala To Xing Of T.G Road In Ward No.80 Under Br. Ix-- 1 Cleaning of floating materials / garbage / any other foul materials from incoming sewer of drainage pumping station / adjoining penstock gate/ open Nikashi / Lock Gate at Canal etc.by mathor labour after removing concrete slab / manhole cover etc.without damaging the same and refixing the same properly after cleaning as necessary and removing the sludge etc. by using iron pans,buckets including all labour, tools & plants including expulsion of impure / inflammable / asphyxiating gases from the drains etc. and removing the spoils in dry condition and disposing the same by truck beyond the area of Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Notified Area Authority / Industrial Township Authority etc.for such disposal including the cost of loading, unloading, transportation and making arrangement of necessary land for disposal, spreading and leveling as necessary etc. and cleaning the road side in all respects, complete as per direction of the Engineer- in-Charge. (Land for disposal to be arranged by the contractor). (Payment will be made on the basis of actual stack measurment of spoils in dry condition at roadsid(e). 2 PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.24.Supplying tosite empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 3 PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.29.Dumping inposition earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts. 4 PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.27.Labourcharges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). [Note ;- In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of theE.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any faultof the Contractor] 8 Estimated amount .
