Department Of School Education has published Tender For Supply, Installation And Placement Of Essential Furniture At Govt. Model School , Indpur Bankura---2 Double student bench cum duel Desk strong and study metal standard structure with wooden top:- Supply and placement of as per design approve as per order classroom desk cum bench of over all dimensions 1050mm WX 895mm DX 750mm H. The Seat, and desk top should be made of 17+/-0.5mm thick pre-laminated boards (IS 12823) with rounded edges and PVC edge banding on all sides. The understructure should be made of MS ERW tubes (IS 7138) 25.4+/-0.3mm X25.4+/-0.3mmX 1.2+/-0.096 mm thick powder coated 50microns (+/-10) at base which should be welded to the desk and seat supports which are made of 1.0mm thick powder coated 50 microns (+/-10)MS C sections. Stiffners made of made of MS ERW tubes (IS 7138) 25.4+/-0.3mm X25.4+/-0.3mmX 1.2+/-0.096 mm thick powder coated 50microns (+/-10) should be provided between 2 vertical frames at base and back of seat. All tubes should be closed with plastic caps. Additional horizontal supports of 1.5+/-0.15mm thick powder coated 50 microns (+/-10) MS C sectionsshould be placed below the desk and seat to add rigidity to the structure. Storage shelf made of 0.6+/- 0.09 mm thick powder coated 50 microns MS sheet should be provided below the desk top. Two nos each hooks should be provided on either side of the vertical frames of the desk for hanging bags and bottles. They should be made of 6.0mm dia MS rod powder coated 50 microns (+/-10).
