Military Engineer Services has published Tender For Special Repair To Lt Ring Main System At Af Stn Bkt; 1 Taking out old serviceable /unserviceable under ground cable from trenches/poles /pipe/floor of size 150 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. 2 Ditto all as per itme No 1 here-in-before item No 1 above but of size 95 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. 3 Supply, laying,jointingand testingin trenches or passing through pipe,1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured LT electric power under ground cable confirming to IS;7098 (pt-i) 19988,heavy duty with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 150sqmm 3.5 core with necessary fixing arrangements such as lugs,glands,and terminals etc.complete all specified and as directed. 4 Ditto all as per item No 3 above but XLPE Cable ofsize 95 Sqmm, 3.5 Core. Complete all as specified and directed. 5 Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep in soft/loose soil) for laying of cables or GI pipe and getting out including levelling of bottom suface to required level complete all as specified and directed. 6 Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed. 7 Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance not exc 50 m away and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 8 Supply and laying Sand coarse dry as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete as specified and as directed. (Note: only punned thickness is measured for payment purpose). 9 Supply & laying in replacement unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, Type 1, flat of size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm as a cable protection on LT underground cables complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L for boring of holes under road ,pavement,hard standing by mechanically or any means as required at siteincluding GI pipe of 100 mm dia suitable for passing the electric cable complete all as specified and directed. 11 Supply, installing, commissioning and testing factory madeCPRI approved LT main feeder pillar double door, outdoor type, floor mounted, powder coated made out of outside body of 3.15mm thick steel sheet , locking arrangement, front side and rear side opening arrangement of suitable size, mounted on Angle iron stand of size 50mmx50mmx6mm having minimum height 1.5 feet duly grouted or welded on floor. Aluminium bus bar of 400A rating for Phase & neutral ,4 strip installed on epoxy insulated housed in separated bus chambers covered with heat shrinkable sleeves and providing extended bus bar with chamber for outgoing cable copper control wiring of required size for instrument and including the following accessories. (a) Incoming :-Change over Switch 250 Amps 4 pole 36 KA -01 No (b) Outgoing :- MCCB 250 Amp 25 KA, 4 polethermal magnetic release -01 No (c) Outgoing :- MCCB 100 Amp 25 KA, 4polethermal magnetic release -02 Nos (d) Outgoing :- MCCB 63 Amp 25 KA, 4pole thermal megnatic release-02 No (e) RYB indication for each incoming & outgoing supplies-01 set (f) Digital Voltmeter, amp meter, with CT’s &selector switch-01 set (g) Termination of all cables with suitable size thimble and gland-1 job complete all as specified and directed. 12 Supply, installing, commissioning and testing factory madeCPRI approved LT main feeder pillar double door, outdoor type, floor mounted, powder coated made out of outside body of 3.15mm thick steel sheet , locking arrangement, front side and rear side opening arrangement of suitable size, mounted on Angle iron stand of size 50x50x6mm having minimum height 1.5 feet duly grouted or welded on floor. Aluminium bus bar 200 Amp rating for Phase & neutral ,4 strip installed on epoxy insulated housed in separated bus chambers covered with heat shrinkable sleeves and providing extended bus bar with chamber for outgoing cable copper control wiring of required size for instrument and including the following accessories (a) Incoming :- Changeover switch 100 Amps-01 No (b) Outgoing :- MCCB 100 Amp 25 KA, 4pole -01 No (c) Outgoing :- MCCB 125 Amp 25 KA, 4 Pole -01 No (d) Outgoing :- MCCB 63 Amp 25 KA, 4 Pole -01 No (d) RYB indication for each incoming & outgoing supplies-01 set (e) Digital Voltmeter, amp meter, with CT’s &selector switch-01 set (f) Termination of all cables with suitable size thimble and gland-1 job complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.25 meter below ground level) connected to galvanised iron strip of size 32mm x 6mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, uts and washers with connected to earth test point & to main switch board /paneletc. all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to equipment/substation/panel etc, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, test point, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for earth pit of size 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4)type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel,wire mesh all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR Part I of 2009and 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe earth lead protectioncomplete all as specified and directed. .
