Public Works Department has published Maintenance Of Agartala Town Roads Under The Jurisdiction Of Central Vii Sub Division Road On Agartala Flyover Three Nos Ramp And Service Road .Crash Barrier Sh Re Carpeting, Pot Hole Repair, Bc,Bm, Painting And Other Allied Items-Providing and applying tack coat with hot straight run Bitumen (VG-30) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen,cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specification: on bituminous surface at the rate of 0.50 kg per sqm 2 Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80 - 100 KN Static rollar capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either TypeA or Type B or Type Cor Type D as per Technical MoRDSpecification Clause 508.By Manual means: 1) Bitumen (60/70 Grade) VG-30 3 Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminious surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, or Type B orType C ortype D asper MoRD Techinical Specification Clause 510A. By Manual MeansCase IV Type D (Premix with fine sand)1) Bitumen (60/70 Grade) VG-30 4 Repairing pot-holes and making up small depressions with ramming or power rolling after removal/ disposal of disintegrated materials within a lead of 50 m, cutting pot holes to regular shapes with vertical edges and levelling the bottom, cleaning the same with compressed air or any other appropriate method including screening, cleaning of aggregates; and filling up with with jhama chips using bitumen of VG-30 @ 54 kg per m3 of loose volume of jhama brick chips, after applying tack coat of bitumen on sides and bottom @ 0.75 kg/ sqm and finishing the top of repaired surface levelled with adjoining area in proper grade and camber including spreading of sand @ 0.006 cum/ sqm of prepared road surface as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and all as per MoRD technical specification Clauses 1900, 502, 503 and 504. 5 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MoRT&H Technical Specification Clause 503. 6 Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.40 Percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects.B. Grading II With Viscosity Graded Bitumen of VG-30. 7 Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects.B.Grading II.With viscosity Graded Bitumen of VG-30 8 Providing and applying 2 coats of water based cement paint to unplastered concrete surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oil grease,efflorescence and applying paint @ of 1 litre for 2 sqm as per drawings and MORT&H Technical specification clause 800. 9 Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade of approved brand and manufacture on old work (one or more coats) including preparation of surface as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge. 10 Providing and applying two coats of redy mix paintapproved brand on steel surface after through cleaning of surface to give an even shade as per drawing and MoRD technical specification clause 1701 11 Cleaning of Expansion Joint on Flyover Using Air Compressor.
