Water Resources Department has published Tender For Rehabilitation Of Karumbur Tank In Chengalpattu Taluk Of Chengalpattu District.; 1 Clearing scrub jungle etc, complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers 2 Dismantling, clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for re-use for any thickness of plain cement concrete etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers 3 Dismantling, clearing away and carefully stacking material and without disturbing nearly structure useful for reuse for any thickness of walls under 3 (Three) meter high etc, complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications [Specifications 4.6.G] Plain cement concrete 4 Dismantling, clearing away and carefully stacking material and without disturb near by structure useful for reuse for any thickness of cut stone / RCC slabs under 3 (Three) metres high etc, complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications [ specification 4.6.G] 5 Earth workin all soils except hard rock requiring blasting and conveying for formation of bund with lead of 100m deploying earth moving machinery and tippers including benching, formation of bunds, breaking clods, sectioning, watering with power roller and consolidation etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers. 6 Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soils and to full depth as may be directed by the departmental officers except hard rock requiring blasting including shoring, strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated soil in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, well rammed consolidated and depositing including all initial lead and initial lift etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. 7 Earthwork open well execavation complying with relevant clases of T.N.D.S.S.well sinkingand with lead 10 metre in sand,silt or orther loose soil,wet sand or silt not undeer water,light black cotton soil,sandy ioam and ordinary soil -Frist depth of 2metre. 8 Earth work deploying earth moving machinery for desilting channel of width 3m to 10m and forming bund on either side and depositing the earth on banks including jungle clarance etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. 9 Providing and placing in position of plain cement concrete M 15 grade using M.sand graded hard blue granite broken stone jelly of 60% of 40 mm size and 40% of 20 mm size mixing with mixer machine and laying in layers including the cost of bailing/pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers of not exceeding 15 cm thick,compacting,consolidationbyusingvibrators,finishing,watering,curingetc.completecomplyingwith standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers 10 Supplying and erecting centering for vertical plain / RCC concrete walls of supply channel, retaining wall etc for following height with necessary supports , all cross bracing with mild steel size of 90 cm x 60 cm and gauge BG 10 stiffened with welded mild steel sheet angles of size 25 mm x 25 mm x 3mm for bearing laid silver oak / country wood joist of size 7.50 cm x 5.0 cm spaced @ about 90 cm C/C and supported by casurina props of 10 cm to 13 cm spaced @ 75 cm C/C , etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. Coarse aggregates having a specific gravity of 2.60 using 20 mm down graded hard blue granite broken stone jelly and fine aggregate with flyash as per IS 383 - 1970 ( 2007 ) with suitable water cement ratio not less than 0.45 and not exceeding 0.50 of water quality confirming to IS 456 - 2000 including use of plasticizer of approved make & dosage of required grade at all locations and levels with specified high workability as per IS 1199 - 1959 ( 2004 ).
