Southern Railway has published Supply Of supply of worn wheel profile gauge. , supply of worn wheel profile gauge, made of hardened stainless steel with laser etched permanent marking of wheel profile size and name of wheel profile gauge on each gauge. wheel profile is made from wire c ut edm. all gauges have hardened 45 hrc & 4 mm thick ss plate with calibration certificate from nabl accredited l ab. for inspection of wheel profile of all type of wheel sets. in one set consist of following items:- 1. worn wheel pr ofile (for bg wagon) gauge size-29 mm, qty-01 no. as per drg. no. 88021. 2. intermediate worn wheel profile gaug e size-20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm, 23 mm, 24 mm, 25 mm, 26 mm, 27 mm & 28 mm qty 09 nos (one each size). as pe r drg. no. wd-89060/s-02, 3. 140t crane wheel profile gauge, size as per drawing no. csl-30404, qty-01 no. 4. to wer car mark- ii wheel profile gauge qty-01 no. as per drg. no. jmp/cr-46/2008, 5. tower car mark- iii wheel profil e gauge qty- 01 no. as per drg. no. ga5443/jmp.
