Highways Department has published Tender For Restoration At Urrumandampalayam - Vellakinar Road At Km 0/0 - 0/6 (Odr); 1 Excavation including removal and satisfactory disposal of all materials necessary for the constructionof roadway and side Drains inaccordance with thespecifications and lines , grades and cross sections shown in the drawingsor asindicated by the Engineer (SS20B)For cutting portion 2 Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) - Plant Mix Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401of MORTH Specification- for grading- VMaterial(Morth No. 111, 112, 401, 900) 3 Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) - Plant Mix Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401of MORTH Specification- for grading- IIIMaterial(Morth No. 111, 112, 401, 900) 4 Wet Mix Macadam (Table 400-13) Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, Complete as per clause 406 of MORTH Specification.(Morth No. 111, 112, 406, 900) 5 Prime coat Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion(SS-I type) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of MORTH Specification over WMM (Morth No. 111, 112, 501, 502, 900) 6 Tack coat- Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I type) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MORTH Specification- over granular surfaces treated with primer (Morth No. 111, 112, 501, 502, 900) 7 Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder (Viscosity Grade 30), transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction, complete as per clause 504of MORTH Specification - Grading II (Table 500-7).
