North Western Railway has published Supply Of supply of rotary selector switch , supply of rotary selector switch 4 pole, 6 way 63 amp suitable for 10 kva at cls panel as p er is 13947/part5/sec.1 of 1993 & is/iec 60947- 3 (1999) or latest. it shall be of flush type. the contacts sh all be of robust design and have ample cross-section for carrying continuously 63a for 10 kva at and be of positive make type to avoid any sparking. the rotary switch shall be enclosed with a transparent cover to p revent accidental/ inadvertent/ interference to circuit. it shall conform to is 13947/part5/sec.1 of 1993 & is/ iec 60947- 3 (1999) or latest. the selector switch (special mode selector switch ) shall have the following s ix positions: -(i) off (ii) main supply (iii) standby one supply (iv) standby two supply (v) off (vi) auto [ warr anty period: 30 months after the date of delivery ] ].
