Indian Army has published Bids Are invited for 1 - Surface preparation and excavation as specified in the technical specification listed in para 1 of the document. , 2 - Providing and laying anti termitetreatment for soil. , 3 - M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers, each layer 75mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size spread & rolled with 8 to12 tonne power roller, rolled and consolidated to required gradient all as specified. Note: The unit rate inserted is for two layers of WBM (75mm compacted thick each layer) measured as one unit, each layer laid and compacted separately incl supply and spreading of soil etc , 4 - Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc applying evenly a priming /tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade at 10kg per 10 Sqm , 5 - Material and labour for premix semi dense asphaltic concrete bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) penetration, with binder content @ 4 % of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient(consolidated thickness 40 mm ) , 6 - M& L for providing bitumen premixSemi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in HMP laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity incl necessary sand seal coat with stone dust incl min bitumen mix complete all as specified and directed , 7 - Supply and fix kerb stone around the court of CM 1:3:6 type C2 complete all as directed , 8 - Excavation in post holes or similar work n exc 0.5 cum getting out in hard dense soil returning filling and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc 25cm complete allas directed , 9 - M&L for cement concrete type B2 using 40mm graded aggreg.
