Patiala Locomotive Works has published Supply Of igbt based 3-phase drive propulsion equipments with amc , manufacturing, supply and commissioning of igbt based complete propulsio n system in 3-phase locomotives as per specification no. rdso/2008/el/spec/0071, rev. 5 a nd as per schedule of requirement (sor) doc no. plw/el/propulsion system/sor/002 rev.0 2 [sept-25] (attached). note: all the relevant rdso modification sheets applicable for the sub- components of igbt based 3-phase drive propulsion equipment to be implemented. [ warranty period: 72 months after the date of delivery ] ] , comprehensive annual maintenance contract (amc) for igbt based 3-phase drive propulsion system fitted on wag-9, wag-9h, wap-7, wap-5 class of locomotives to clw specn. no. clw/amc/c-d&d/01 issued in march 2016. note: bidders to note that this is a composite tender for procurement of complete propulsion system and amc for 03 yea rs beyond warranty period. bidders are required to quote charges for amc on annual basis (for each year separately) for post warranty period of amc for 03 years. the eval uation of offers will be based on total cost of propulsion system and net present val ue of the amc cost of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year after the warranty period.the net present value (npv) will be worked out at a discounting rate of 10%. the system will calculate npv of amc of offer automatically based on which ranking will be done. warranty peri od: 72 months from the date of delivery. amc period: 3 years rate of discounting: 10%.
