Military Engineer Services has published Tender For Special Repair To Road Of 324 Fd Regt At Gg Fort Old Amritsar Cantt.; 1 Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm deep but not exc 100mm deep complete, all as specified and directed. 2 Material and labour preparing existingblack top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked ,mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compresser to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming tack coat with paving bitumen primer @ 5 kg/10 sqm using paving bitumen VG 10 and laying semi dence Asphaltic bituminious concrete ( SDAC ) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content VG 30by weight of total mix with mechanical pavermixing in hot mix plant , rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonnemechanical power roller complete, all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Material for SDAC shall be mixed in hot mixing plant.(b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab.(c) The pemix carpet shall be laid with mechanical paver. 3 Repair to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by fiiling in screened and graded road metal , watering andagain well rammed complete, all as specified and directed. 4 Material and labour Premixed bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with using 20mm graded stone aggregate and paving bitumen @ 4% by the weight of total mix(consolidated thickness 75mm thick or less or as required) with 10 to 12 ton power roller complete, all as specified and directed. 5 Material and Labour for preparaton of bituminous surfaces of roads and marking 2.5mm thick centre line, stop lines dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10cm wide on roads pavements, with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete, all as specified and directed. 6 supply and fixing in replacementfor solar solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25 mm (shank 65mm) of high efffiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete, all as specified and directed. 7 Supply and fixingin repair for cat eye reflective type metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 or equivalent/from makes mentioned in particular specifications fixed with & including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer instructions complete, all as specified and directed. 8 Supply and fixing in repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 60 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic eelastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300mm) type B1 complete, all as specified and directed. .
