Indian Navy has published Bids Are invited for Degutting of all engine and alternator first connections to system pipelines like Ext. system, , LO system, FW system, SW system, Ext. drain system, alternator SW cooling system and fuel oil system , De-lagging of Exhaust pipeline with bellows. , Degutting of exhaust pipeline with bellows , Remove and lifting of the air trunking, other system pipes, exhaust system in way of unshipping the engine/ alternator. Then shift to the jetty and store in the nominated location at ND(Mbi) , Secure all first connections with protective polythene sheets or plastic caps as required and as necessary for preservation. , Lifting of old diesel engine aggregates and accessories and remove from the place and shift to the jetty and keep it in the nominated location at ND (Mbi) , Decouple the old partially stripped engine and alternator coupling , Manufacture and weld the lifting eyes at required place and carryout the load testing of the lifting eyes in-situ. , Remove the engine local control panel and shift to the nominated location at ND(Mbi). , Remove the engine and alternator foundation bolt from the place. , Undertake the fixing of all lifting chain blocks where required. Fix special lifting appliance for Diesel engine. , Remove and lift the old partially stripped engine from the place and keep it on the cradle at jetty and secure as required and handover to the ND (Mbi) at nominated location. , Degut and remove the SV mountings and foundation from the ship and shift it to the jetty and handover to the ND(Mbi) at nominated location. , Prepare partially stripped new engine for safe shifting from jetty to the foundation in engine room. , Prepare ship’s engine room for lowering of new engine by fitting lifting chain pulley blocks as required and as necessary , Shift the resized & partially stripped new engine to the position onboard , Torque tightening of the engine and alternator foundation. , Lifting of new diesel engine aggregates and accessories and shift to the engine room for re-gutting of new engine. , Carryout the fitment of coupling of engine and alternator and undertake the torque tightening. , Remove all the lifting appliances from the ship. , Remove all lifting eyes welded onboard as per the ND (Mbi) instruction , Re-gutting of all other systems pipes, fittings, air trunking removed for shipping and unshipping of the engine and alternator including all in way modification as required. , Re-gutting of all engine and alternator first connections to system pipelines like Ext. system, LO system, FW system, SW system, Ext. drain system, alternator SW cooling system and fuel oil system. , Re-gutting of Exhaust pipeline with bellows. , Re-lagging of exhaust pipeline with bellows , Carryout the STW.
