Military Engineer Services has published Tender For Re-Surfacing Of Bituminous Road At Various Location And Road Furnitures At Dihar Leh; 1 Material and labourfor preparing existing black top surfaces surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleared surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etccomplete all as specified and directed. 2 Material and labour for applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade @ 5 kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed. 3 Material and labour forlaying, spreading30mm thick (consolidated thickness)bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content of bitumen of VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, made with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled and consolidated to reqd camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surfacecomplete all as specified and directed.( Note :- (i) Workshall be executed as per design mix approved by the GE. (ii)Filler shall be cement (OPC-43 Grade) (iii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.However, if binder content works out to be on minus side during design process (i.e less than 5.50%) same shall be adjusted considering the bitumen rate given in particular specification. 4 Material and labour forpainting lines, dashes, arrows, letters,etc on roads ,pavements and the like exc 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed 5 Material and labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting around adges making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings, depth of potholes exc 30mm rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. 6 Bituminous premix macadam with 4% paving Bitumen binder,laid,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient(compacted thickness upto maximum 75mm) complete all as specified and directed. 7 Supply and fixing for solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65)of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcdas per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed. .
