Southern Railway has published Supply Of low maintenance lead acid battery , 110 v, 200ah low maintenance lead acid battery for traction distribution syste m as per rdso specification no. rdso/pe/spec/tl/ 0040 (rev 2) 2021 or latest with standard ac cessories with out stand with electrolyte in separate jar. scope of supply of basic, essential accessorie s/items are as under: (1) basic item - 2 v, 200 ah battery = 55 nos. cell. (2) essential item- (a) electrolyte = as per manufacturers cell capacity plus 10% extra. (3) accessories - testing equipment = as given in par a no. 11 of specification (warranty period : upto 30 months from the date of delivery.)
