South Western Railway has published Supply Of digital earth fault locator , digital earth fault locator suitable for dc system voltage grades 220v,110v,48 v & 24v working on dc power supply 220v & 110v or ac-220v external supply. the unit shall c onsist of the following items i.transmitter working on dc system voltage measurement ra nge: 0v- 500v dc with measurement resolution dc 1v & accuracy of 5%+/-5v, system for gro und impedance measurement range: 0-1m ω,accuracy:10%+/-3kω ii. a receiver with insulation resistance measuring range at least:0-600kω, insulation impedance measurement resolution : 1kω. & the resolution of earth leakage current detection: 0.1ma with built in rechargeabl e power supply. item to be supplied with suitable signal clamps, current sensors, power ada pters. makes and model: metravi-dcgfl-999 or dc trace of scope t&m or equivalent.
