Public Works Department has published Repair Of Main Pump Motor Set 7.5 Hp Of Crompton Make And Providing And Installation Of Stand By Pump Motor Set At Govt. State Cancer Institute, Jammu-Repair of Main Pump/Motor set 7.5 HP of Crompton Makethe job includes complete rewinding of 7.5 HP 3 phase motor/water supply motor by way of dismantling motor from base frame by opening of foundation bolts, loading to workshop site and unloading it there. Disconnecting of all motor leads, dismantling of motor, taking out the rotor from the stator and complete disassembly as per requirement of job .Complete rewinding of stator coils of motor with suitable copper wire after complete removal of burnt out winding, cleaning of slots, etc. insulation, varnishing, tapping etc. Assembling of all motor parts. Job also includes replacement of pump shaft andimpeller by way of and then providing /fitting of 2 nos. bearings of reputed make in place of damaged bearings as per old size and sample, providing and fittingof mechanical seal. Shifting of the motor and pump back to site in private vehicle, fitting of motor, coupling and alignment with pump, making of all electrical connections and testing of the pump set at full load at site. MOC- Impeller -SS, Delivery casing -CI, motor body -CI , Pump shaft -SS. The pump must have flatter efficency curve, wide voltage design , designed to prevent overloading, replaceable wearing parts, Dynamically balanced rotating parts ,CED coating ,mechanical seal. the Complete Job includes cost of new pump set, handling/carriagecharges and taxes etc. 3 Installation, Testing and Commissioning of standbythree phase7.5 HP centrigugal monoblock pump set along with valves , cable, starter andCGI colour Coated Shedfor motors at Govt. Connect the suction and delivery pipeline .Support the suction and delivery pipe with angle /hangers as required to avoid strain on pump. The job includes proving of 2 ball valve – Brass Ball valves50 mm (2’’)Full port Brass Threaded , cast iron handle – 2 nos.(one on delivery line of stand by pump and another on delivery line ofexisting pumpalong with brass Nipple 50 mm (2’’)- 2 Nos.The job includes providing and fitting of Check valves 50 mm forged brass with forged brass disc material screw end connection -2 nos.The complete job includes providingadditional GI pipe at the suction and delivery end for installation of stand by pump set.
