Indian Army has published Bids Are invited for Repair & Replacement - M&L for earthing complete for bldg with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 60cm thick buired diectly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to galvanized earth wire 4.00 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts,thimbles,chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, PCC (Concerte chamber of size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm inside dimension ) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm grade stone aggregate with fair finish , internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel withmesh of 22 gauge, 80 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concreat chamber shall be given 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh of 22 gauge , 80 mm thick PCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm grade stone aggregate reinforce with XPM, JALLI pit shall be filled with charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of mes SSR Part-1 (2009) as specified including provision of 15mm dia medium grade GI pipe for earth wire protection and 20 mm dia for watering complete, all excation and earth work & connection the earthing to an earthing test point/ main switch board as specified and testing on completion complete.-18 Nos Total Quantity : 1.
