Border Road Organisation has published PROVIDING, LAYING AND COMPACTION OF 75 MM THICK DENSE BITUMINOUS MACADAM (DBM) FOR CORRECTION WORK AND30 MM THICK BITUMINOUS CONCRETE (BC) FOR RE-SURFACING WORKS INCLUDING CLEANING OF ROAD SURFACE APPLYING PRIME COAT AND TACK COATAND ROAD MARKING ALL AS PER PARTICULAR SPECIFICATIONS/MORT&H SPECIFICATION (FIFTH REVISION) BETWEENKM 0.00 TO KM 13.000, KM 20.020 TO KM 26.385 AND KM 36.420 TO KM 41.000ON KARCHAM- CHITKUL ROAD UNDER68 RCC/759 BRTF ROAD SECTOR OF PROJECT DEEPAK IN HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE; 1 Altitude Between (Below2100-3600 ) mtr 2 Providing, laying and compaction of DBM 75 mm thick (compacted) over finished non bituminous layer with minimum 4.5% Bitumen (VG-10) content to total mix conforming to MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works (Fifth revision) and as specified in particular specification. 3 Providing and applying primer coat on prepared WMM surface including cleaning of road surface and spraying bitumen emulsion (SS-1 grade) @ 7.50 Kg/10 Sqm using bitumen pressure distributor conforming to MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works (Fifth revision) and as specified in particular specification. 4 Providing, laying and compaction of BC 30 mm thick (Compacted) over finished Bituminous surface with minimum 5.4% Bitumen (VG-10) content to total weight of mixconforming to MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works (Fifth revision) and as specified in particular specification. 5 Providing and applying of tack coat on prepared Bituminous surface including cleaning of road surface and spraying bitumen emulsion (RS-1 grade) @ 2.50 Kg/10 Sqm using bitumen pressure distributor conforming to MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works (Fifth revision) and as specified in particular specification.. 6 Providing and laying of Road marking with thermoplastic paint 2.5 mm thick conforming to MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works (Fifth revision) and as specified in particular specification and as directed by Engineer in Charge. .
