Ministry Of Defence has published Bids Are Invited For Boq Total Quantity : 1---1 Structural Glass STRUCTURAL GLAZING / SEAILESS GLAZING: Structural glazing shall be of 5 mm thick reflective glass of Saint Gobin/Modi/ Atul brand make and approved by GE and shall be fixed with frame work of aluminum powder coated (minimum 50 micron) (black color) section of Hindalco /Indal/Jindal sections which conforms with the wind and statue load calculations shall provided sections to be used in the work are as under :- (i) Vertical and Horizontal- Section No 8796 (75 mm x 57.2 mm @ 1.446 Kg). (ii) Outer Frame – Section No 8796 (75 mm x 57.2 mm @ 1.446 Kg). (iii) Cleat Angle- Section 1773 (25 mm x 25 mm @ 0.0259 Kg). Size of glass shall be 1125 x 1605 mm Basic frame work shall be fixed to masonry with ISA 50 x 50 x 6 mm with Hiliti bolts. Glass shall be placed horizontally and vertically with 6mm x 6mm square frame tape and applied with architectural grade silicon construction sealant(UV resistant) of make Dow corning 995, E, S618 or equivalent with requisite structural bit. Silicor sealant of made Dow 789, Wacker 305 or equivalent shall be applied to make the joints water tight. . Last date of submission for this tender is 2021-08-05.
