Military Engineer Services has published Tender For Periodical Services To Certain Bldgs Of Md/Otm Accn In Domestic Area At Af Stn Suryalanka; 1 M&L preparing old surfaces of walls plastered or uplastered including brooming down or wire brushing, scrapping down and applying one coat of white wash complete all as spd and as directed. 2 All as per srl item No-1 above but on ceilings. 3 M&L preparing old surfaces of walls plastered or uplastered including brooming down or wire brushing, scrapping down and applying one of OBD complete all as spd and as directed. 4 M&L preparing old surfaces of walls plastered or uplastered including brooming down or wire brushing, scrapping down and applying one of cement base paint complete all as spd and as directed. 5 M&L preparing old surfaces of walls plastered or uplastered including brooming down or wire brushing, scrapping down, and applying one coats of Exterior emulsion paintto match existing surfaces complete all as spd and as directed. 6 M&L preparing old steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to match existing surfaces complete all as spd and as directed. 7 M&L preparing old wooden surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to match existing surfaces complete all as spd and as directed. 8 Taking down cementor cement lime plaster, any description, on brick walls including racking out joints hacking for keyscrubbing down with water etc. complete all as spd and as directed. 9 M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete in CM 1:6 finishing even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as spd and as directed. 10 M&L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete in CM 1:6 finishing even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as spd and as directed. 11 M&L for rendering 5mm thick on fair faces ofconcrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3in ceiling surface finished even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as spd and as directed. 12 M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer complete all as spd and as directed. 13 M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint a coat of primer complete all as spd and as directed. 14 M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash complete all as spd and as directed. 15 M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceilings and applying three coats of white wash complete all as spd and as directed. 16 M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian)n.exc 30cm of height complete all as spd and as directed. 17 Ditto all as per item No. as above but stops, commas, short lines, dashes, hyphens, brackets etc complete all as spd and as directed. 18 Supply only of liquid water proofing compound of approved make . 19 M&L for rendering dubbing coat over damaged irregular surface of chajjas roof projections/ceiling/facia etc average 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 over cement slurry coat thick @ 3Kg/sqm making the surface even followed by 5mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 finished even & smooth including making the drip course as reqd complete in reoughning surface of old concrete by picking sweeping clean and washing with water all as specified. Note rate of formwork and scaffolding if required to be incl in the rate quaoted by the contractor. 20 Supplying and applying two component elastometic acrylic polymer modified cementious waterproofing coating, SmartCare Damp Block 2K Supremo of approved equivalent,having 80% elongation as per ASTM D412, resisting 5 bars hyrostatic pressure as per DIN 1048, reduction to rapid chloride shall be 70 as per ASTM C 1202, crack bridging upto 1.2mm as per ASTM 4548.5. The coating shall have food grade certificate from laboratories like CFTRI, applying SmartCare Damp Block 2K Supremo in two coat 2 kg/sqm consumption, the mixing ratio of the coating shall be 2 parts of powder & 1 part of liquid without any water addition in the mixing, etc complete as per manufacturers specifications. .
