Military Engineer Services has published Provision of Operations Control centre at Port Blair AS A Part of Force Accretion in ANC AOR , note: the prepriced rate indicated as 0 . 00 under col . 6 and as 0 . 000 indiacted under col no 14 to 20 signifies this fact only . bidder shall insert their rates in green filed under col-6 . and other charges like taxes , ed , freight etc are shall filed in the respective col , m&l for carring out the soil investigation in respect of the soil investigation to cover field and laboratory studies includies:- ( a ) mobilisation of plants and equipments including men and materials as required at site of soil investigation setting of boring/drilling as required and de-moblisation of plants and equipments on completion of work etc complete ( which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing ( 01 job ) ( b ) shifting of entire arrangement fromone bore to another bore hole location and setting of boring/drilling as required/directed by engineer0in-charge ( 04 each ) ( c ) boring 150mm dia boreholes with 15 . 0m depth through following type of strata ( i ) any type of soil ( 60 rm ) , ( ii ) soft rock ( 10 rm ) , ( iii ) hard rock ( 05 rm ) ( d ) collection of undistrubed soil samples at3 . 0 mtrs intervals or at any change in 150mm bore thin wall tube of strata including waxing , sealing , packing , transporting etc complete ( 25 each ) . ( e ) carrying out standard penetration test ( spt ) as per is 2131 including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1 . 0 mtrs depth or at any change of strata and submit the report with all requsite data ( 75 each ) . ( f ) conducting necessary test on all collection of ds/uds/spt samples which includes the determination of the following tests ( 05 each ) . ( i ) shrinkage limits ( ii ) atterberg limits ( iii ) natural moisture content ( iv ) wet and dry density ( v ) particle size ( soil grain size ) ( vi ) consolidation test ( vii ) triaxial shear test ( viii ) dtrect shear test ( ix ) specific gravity ( x ) crushing strength of rock sample ( xi ) testing of water sample ( xii ) free swll index complilation and anaysis of laboratory and field test result and submission reports in 4 sets along with recommendations for selection of type of foundation with supporting design details and recommendation of sbc etc complete ( 01 job ) . .
