Indian Coast Guard has published Bids Are Invited For Repair And Overhauling Service - Repairing Of Seawater And Exhaust Gas Leakage Of Stbd Main Engine Trunk Bellow At Water Jet Compartment; Mtu 4000 Series; No; Service Provider Premises Sea water and exhaust gas leakage observed in Stbd main engine exhaust trunk bellow at water jet compartment. Exhaust bellow to be repaired/renewed as per sample and Stbd main engine exhaust system to be proved for satisfactory operation. (Mat: SS, D- 400mm and L-400mm) Following in way jobs to be carried out during repaired/renewed of exhaust bellow:- 1. Repair/renew of Stbd main engine exhaust pipe cladding and lagging. Same to be replaced/repaired. 2. Visual inspection and DP test to be carried out in welded area. 3. Renewal of 24 nos. bolts and nuts (M18, Mat: SS). 4. Inspection of Exhaust bellow and defective to be repaired/renewed. 5. Repairing and welding of Stbd main engine exhaust trunk and defective pipe to be repaired/renewed. Total Quantity :.
